SPRING OF LIFE MINISTRIES
Spring of Life Ministries is a registered charitable trust (Reg. No. 06232), headquartered at 401, Mandakini Enclave, near Ashiana Garden in Adarshnagar, Sonari 831011, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Founded in 2005 by Mrs. Anjulika Marian Murmu, with spiritual guidance from her father, late Mathias Hembrom, the organization began its mission with a simple but powerful vision to uplift and serve the underserved, especially children, women, and tribal communities. What started with a modest daycare center in Kutkudungri, Mango, catering to just 15 children and one teacher, has now grown into a multifaceted grassroots movement driven by compassion, faith, and resilience. Inspired by the passionate work of Mrs. Anjulika Marian Murmu, her husband, Dr. Dinesh Murmu, joined her as Chief Advisor to continue and strengthen the vision they both share. Despite limited resources and numerous early challenges, the commitment of the founding team helped the ministry expand across several regions in Jharkhand including East Singhbhum, Seraikela Kharsawan, Sahebganj, Dumka, Gumla, and Khunti as well as into Assam's Kokrajhar district.
Officially registered in 2006, Spring of Life Ministries has evolved into a vibrant organization working in the areas of early education and care, women's empowerment, youth engagement, social entrepreneurship, and spiritual outreach. At the core of the organization is a dedicated leadership and administrative team, supported by local coordinators, teachers, and volunteers who carry out the mission on the ground. The ministry runs multiple daycare centers, churches, and prayer cells that serve as both physical and spiritual sanctuaries for children and families offering not just education, but also love, safety, and a sense of belonging.
To support self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability, the ministry launched Ananya DAPS Enterprises in 2017, a social enterprise whose proceeds directly fund the organization's mission. Continuing its commitment to rural transformation, Spring of Life Ministries introduced a new initiative in 2025 called the Sampurn Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to promoting socio-economic growth in tribal and rural communities by reviving traditional knowledge, supporting local economies, and creating skill based livelihood opportunities for women with limited access to employment. Sampurn Foundation serves as a platform to foster self reliance, preserve cultural heritage, and empower villages from within.
Today, Spring of Life Ministries continues its work with courage and conviction operating daycare centers, conducting youth and women's programs, and building faith communities through churches and home fellowships. Without relying on external funding, and often navigating through local challenges and hardships, the organization remains rooted in its calling to restore dignity, nurture potential, and plant hope in every heart it touches. With each life transformed and each village reached, Spring of Life Ministries moves closer to its vision of a just, compassionate, and spiritually awakened society.
